More like Matthew McConaug-HEYYYY, right?! We are currently in the midst of a Matthew McConaughey renaissance, and it feels pretty damn good.
You could hardly go to the movie theater last year without seeing a film with Matthew McConaughey in it (assuming you were seeing good movies) — ‘Bernie,’ ‘Magic Mike,’ and ‘Killer Joe‘ all featured McConaughey proving that he hasn’t disappeared and he’s still got what it takes in the acting department.
And you know, this Matthew McConaughey is much more preferable to the one that starred in rom-com crap like ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ (the answer: on the third date, tell him you’re a hoarder but you still think you could find room for the baby when it comes) or ‘Failure to Launch.’
Anyway, you may not have seen ‘Bernie’ or ‘Killer Joe’ last year, but I know for damn sure you saw McConaughey and his killer body in ‘Magic Mike.’ He’s got more movies this year, too, including ‘Mud,’ which is really good and you should totally at least consider seeing it to fill your monthly “artsy fartsy” movie quota.
In the parlance of McConaughey — alright, alright, alright, let’s look at some pictures, shall we, ladies?
